Chicago’s Washington Park Mass Shooting Incident
As per many of the sources, the shooting resulted in the death of two people, and also there were many people involved in the shooting. As the police suggested that there was a verbal fight going on between two groups that were at the park. As a result, the verbal fight escalated and resulted in the fight between the two groups firing multiple shots at each other. The shooting resulted in several people being shot and two people being dead as well. There were many people around as well when the shooting occurred and one of the witnesses told the media that the group was having a barbecue when a gunman arrived and fired openly.

As the police investigated the case, the people who were shot in the shooting were aged between 9 years to 46 years old. Authorities have reported that they received the alert call around 7:45 pm on Tuesday from a shot spotter and they also received the alert of illegal gunshots from the 500th bloc of e.1 st which was near the City Hyde Park neighbourhood. At 11:16 police nearly evacuated the place and two people were found dead because of the injuries that they sustained from the shooting. Police now have said that they are offering a 15,000 dollars reward to the person providing information about the shooter or anything related to the shooting.

Speaking about the victims of the shooting only the ages of the victims were revealed not the names. The victims include a 30-year-old man who was shot in his leg, a 39 years old man who sustained an injury on his ankle, a 27-year-old female sustaining a wound to her thigh, a 22-year-old male along with a 19-year-old man were sustained shots in their elbow and shoulder, a 33-year-old female who sustained to her arm, 46 years old who sustained shots to his leg, a 43 years old man who was shot at the back of his head who was pronounced dead, and a 20 years old man who was shot multiple times. People who were alive were transferred to the hospital and are being treated at the hospitals now.
