Uvalde Shoot Victim 10-year-Old Amerie Jo Garza Laid At Rest
Along with 19 students two teachers were also killed in the shoot, which occurred at the Rob Elementary School. Amerie’s body was brought to the heart Catholic church, on Tuesday afternoon. The little girl’s favorite color was purple. Many people arrived at the funeral an hour before the appointed time, some wore black but many wore lavender and shades of lilac as it was her favorite color. Across the street, the media were also there to witness the funeral. The silver hearse was pulled at nearly 2 p.m, and Amerie’s family also showed up in the following car.

There were six pallbearers who carried the casket and were wearing white and pink flowers in their pockets. Everything including the dressing to the flowers was in lilac and lavender color. Her funeral took place after her family and her relatives each said a word about the little soul. After that, the casket was carried to the ground, where her body was lowered and her casket was put down in the ground. There were hundreds of people who were there at the funeral and many sobbed as the little girl was lowered into the grave.

Her family released dove-shaped white flowers in the wind, which were in a bouquet. Amerie’s family described her as a pretty little soul who was happy, sassy, a diva in herself but was golden-hearted. She also has a little brother, whom she used to dot every time. She was loved and she loved everyone. She looked embracing in her photographs. There are many others as well, who lost lives in the mass shooting and we might hear the funerals in the coming days. It is heartbreaking to witness such a loss to society and the children’s parents as well
