Who Is Rigzin Chorol?
At the time of the proud ceremony, the mother attended the event along with her son and she disclosed that she had finally completed the dream of Rigzin Khanadap. The late spouse of Chorol was a rifleman in the Zedang Sumpa battalion of the Scouts of Ladakh and in the line of duty he passed away. Since then she has decided to become an Indian Army officer. This moment is not only proud for her but for everyone who thinks that women can’t do anything.

Her dedication and determination have brought her to this title and now she is ready to serve the Indian army. Ever since people got to know about her they have been looking to get more details about her. Rigzin Chorol has completed her graduation in economics and she always wanted to be an Indian Army officer in the order to fulfil the will of her spouse. Now finally she hold the title and became the First Female officer. She became a role model for many females and her journey shows that if you continue to chase your dream one day you fulfilled it.
Rigzin Chorol Becomes First Female Indian Army Officer From Ladakh
The new Army officer stated that “My spouse was appointed in the Ladakh Scout and he always wanted to be an officer in Army. After losing him, I decided to complete his dream as he always wanted me to join the Indian army and now finally I have done it which he always wanted. Though he is no more with us I know he is happy to see me from heaven.” She was among 35 female cadets and 151 male cadets who cleared out the Officers Training Academy in the state of Chennai. She is not only the one who passed out, Harveen Kaur Kahlon who was initially a teacher and now an officer also passed out OTA. Her spouse, Captain Kanwalpal Singh Kahlon has died and she also decides to become an officer. She stated that 11 months of training was not easy for her as she missed the childhood of her son while taking the training. We are also sending our congratulatory messages to her for her achievement.
