He was a respectable personality and had performed hundreds of so successful. He was born in Hungary and used to travel all around Europe for music purposes he directed many famous events and he quickly made his name all around Germany. Stefan Soltész was born on 6 January 1949 and was an Austrian conductor of Hungarian descent. Soltész was a regular guest conductor at European opera houses such as the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, and Oper Frankfurt. Soltész conducted recordings such as excerpts from Puccini’s La Bohème, and Giuseppe Gazzaniga’s Don Giovanni.

Soltész collapsed while conducting a performance of Richard Strauss’s Die schweigsame Frau at the National Theatre Munich. He came to Vienna in 1956, where he became a member of the Wiener Sängerknaben.
