Earthquake Hits Sichuan In China
As per the sources, around 50,000 people were shifted to the safer zones and to the restored utilities, emergency relief areas and restored utilities to safeguard lives. Now a video has come ahead and the video showcased how some trees in the street were shaken and the trees along with the cars were shaken because of the quake. The video was shared on Twitter and it went viral on the internet. As of now, the officials have revealed that around 250 people were sent to the hospital to receive the injuries and dozens were critically wounded. Rescuers ran to the area hit by the quake and nearly 200 stranded people were moved to the safer zones.

The rescuers and the teams helping the affected were restoring the telecommunication services, power and water facilities as well. The rescuers were also provided with the food and necessities for the retrains as well. State television said that were around 200 people who were affected and stranded in Hailugou which is a place where there are glaciers, verdant forests ad soaring peaks as well. The roads and the pipelines were all blocked because of the quakes and the rescuers are trying hard to rescue the people stuck if any and also get the pipelines, roadways and telecommunications back to normal. This is not the first time Sichuan faced quakes, earlier as well there were many quakes and this quake on Monday was one of the highest frequency quakes ever received. There are many quakes in the mountain area of west Sichuan and also at the eastern boundary of the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau as well. This one was around 6-8 magnitude and until now the highest received magnitude quakes were recorded in 2008 with the magnitude of 8.0 hitting Aba prefecture north of Luding. In 2017 Sichuan received a magnitude quake of 7.0 and after that, this was the first time there was a quake with this high magnitude.
