When he gets to know about this, he feels like he will not be able to work again as a news presenter but he overcomes his fear. Jones talked about his situation and said he always had a good hearing until he got cold many months back. He visited a doctor and the doctor informed him that his left eardrum is not working anymore also his nerve which takes the sound to the brain also stops working which means he will not be able to listen with his left ear.
