He was arrested on Saturday, for the first-degree murder of his girlfriend’s one-year-old son. When police arrived at the scene, the baby’s body was left covered by a blanket while the man was nowhere to be found. Police quickly found Toseland at his home in Manhattan where he was taken into custody and charged with murder. According to police, Toseland and the child were together on the night he was killed.
