The real name of Guruji was Nirmal Singh but people know him by guruji. He was the founder of Adilabad’s Kala Ashram. He took his last breath at his residence on Sunday, 29th April 2018. At the time of passing, he was 65 years old. After his ultimate demise, he left behind his son, daughter, and wife. As per the reports, the reason for his ultimate death is found that he was suffering from lethal cancer and he was suffering for the last 3 years and passed away in his sleep. The last rites of Guruji happened on Monday morning, 30th April 2018. It’s been two years since his death but people still remember him.

Guruji was a trained artist who had been honored with Kala Ratna by the state government of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2014. After the division of the State, the government of Telangana honored him with the Ugadi Puraskaram in the year 2015. After the ultimate death of Guruji, several renowned personalities paid tribute to him and condolences including Jogu Ramanna, the Forest Minister, and Both MLA Rathod Bapu Rao. The Guruji had thousands of followers who follow him and adore him. He was born in a migrant family in Punjab.

At the time of 20 years long voyage, he also gathered antiquity and other material from agrarian areas.
