Hockey World Cup 2023 Teams
The last time the Hockey world cup was conducted was in 2018, Belgium won the world cup and defeated the Netherlands in it. This time there are four different groups of teams from different countries and these groups are called pools. Poll A consists of countries, Australia, France, South Africa, and Argentina. Poll B consists of countries, Belgium, Germany, Korea, and Japan, Pool C consists of teams Netherlands, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Chile. Lastly, poll D consists of teams India, England, Spain, and Wales. This time some of the matches will be held in India as well where the FIH decided that the matches will be held in Bhubaneshwar and Rourkela.
Hockey World Cup 2023 Dates
The first match will be held on the 13th of January 2023 and the last will be continued till February while the tournament will be held until the 29th of January 2023. Speaking about the tickets for the match then one can get them online and offline as well, Until now Pakistan is on top as it has won four times the world cup and t is to see who will win this time. Starting on 13th Jan 223, the first match will be between Argentina and South Africa and on the same day, Australia VS France, England VS Wales, and India VS Spain are also be held. Matches will be held in Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneshwar, and Birsa Munda stadium in Rourkela.
Hockey World Cup 2023 Schedule
On the 14th of Jan 2023, New Zealand VS Chile, Netherlands VS Malaysia, Belgium VS Korea, and Germany VS Japan matches are held. On the 15th of Jan 2023 Spain VS Wales, and England VS India, matches are held. While on the 16th of January 2023 Malaysia VS Chile, New Zeeland VS Netherlands, France Vs South Africa, and Argentina VS Australia matches are held. On the 17th of Jan 2023 Korea VS Japan, Germany VS Belgium, and Malaysia matches are held. On the 19th of Jan 2023 Malaysia VS New Zealand, Netherlands VS Chile, Spain VS Netherlands and India VS Wales matches are held. While on the 20th of Jan 2023 Australia VS south Africa, France VS Argentina, Belgium VS Japan, and Korea VS Germany matches are held. While in the remaining days, the winners and the defeated ones from the above-held matches will be playing matches. These matches will be held until the 29th of January 2023 and will lastly carry the two teams who fought in every match. Speaking about the matches that will be held in India then as per the timings given by FIH Argentina VS South Africa match will be held in India in the Kalinga Stadium of Bhubaneshwar.
