The newly released video includes audio of the altercation between Juwan Howard and Greg Gard. The altercation occurred in the first half of Saturday’s game against Michigan. In the video, Howard can be seen charging Gard, head-on, while Gard is next to the sideline chatting with assistant coach Rick Majerus. As they collide, a flagrant foul is called on Howard while Gard is given a technical foul for his role in the altercation.

The on-court video from Wednesday night’s game featuring Juwan Howard and Greg Gard has been released. In this video, there is audio of the lead-up to the altercation involving the two men. Howard and Gard are discussing a blocked shot when the argument breaks out. The audio in the video is clear enough that the viewer can hear what was said in response to Howard’s initial comments. The use of this audio provides us with an understanding of what transpired on-court before Howard pushed Gard, which led to a close-up of their heated exchange.

A new video of the lead-up to the altercation between Juwan Howard and Greg Gard has been released. The videos from Gard’s perspective show that Howard was yelling at him before he even made it to the bench, while Howard’s footage shows Gard swatting away his hand in front of him. The incident happened on March 2nd during the game against Michigan State. Both players were ejected and Greg Gard’s ejection was overturned by the Big Ten, Who deemed that his reaction to being provoked was within reason. After the game on Tuesday, February 14th, an altercation in which Juwan Howard and Greg Gard exchanged words and Howard shoved Gard to the ground was reported. However, no video exists of the lead-up to the incident. In order to provide closure for this event, Wisconsin Athletics has released a video that includes audio of the lead-up to the altercation.
